      The opening of Benghazi’s fifth classic car show took place this week at the Juliana hotel. The three-day exhibition of vintage vehicles is organised by the Libyan Motor and Classic Car clubs. It is being sponsored by state telecoms network provider Al Madar and Benghazi-based agents for Toyota, Hyundai and BMW.

    • As it is only a matter of months before the Libyan constitution is passed, The Voice of Libyan Women (VLW) believes it is essential to ensure maximum impact when the eyes of both the national and international community are still focused on the Libyan women & their rights.



    • VLW will be creating a policy framework designed by conference attendees and will publicly hand it to Members of the Constitutional Assembly, Members of Parliament and the newly formed Government at the final evening reception. Finally, they will also be lobbying for the participation of civil society in the constitutional discussions.
