    • Looking@Libya is a dynamic and fast growing consortium between two boutique Maltese law firms namely; IURIS Malta and FZD Advocates. We established ourselves in 2011 and the consortium currently employs a compliment of 20 officials collectively transforming our client’s business ideas into products and services for the North African market.

  • The directors

    • Dr Reuben Balzan received his education at St Aloysius College and graduated in law from the University of Malta in 1993. He was admitted to the Bar in 1994 and has been a member of the Bar ever since. In 1998 he was elected to the Chamber of Advocates’ committee and is currently its President. He served as a Board member of the Malta Communications Authority and has until recently served as Chairman of the Malta Resources Authority.

      For the last fifteen years, Reuben has specialised in commercial law and counts some of Malta’s largest corporate groups as long-term clients. He is deeply interested in ICT law, civil rights and the development of ethical standards in the legal profession, hence his current Presidency of the Malta Chamber of Advocates which represents all lawyers in Malta.






    • Dr Peter Fenech graduated from the University of Malta in 1993 and was admitted to the bar in 1994. He previously served as a President of the Pharmacy Council, a Chairman of the Manoel Theatre, and Vice President of the Malta Football Association. He is currently a member of the Chamber of Advocates, a Chairman of Melita UNIPOL Insurance Brokers, a Chairman of the Mediterranean Conference Centre and a member of the Broadcasting Authority.

      Most recently, he co-founded IURIS Malta and acts as a visiting lecturer of the University of Malta. Peter has shown an interest and developed a level of expertise within the legal sphere, namely Business & Corporate Law, Personal Injury, Human Rights, Family Law, Property & Development Law, Public Law, Employment & Industrial Relations Law, General Commercial and Civil Litigation.
