As of February 3013, MED CROSS LINES will expand its shipping services to Libya. It will do so by increasing two Turkish ports within its schedule, namely Istanbul and Izmir. This will be one of the fastest Ro-Ro and container services that shall be available to Libya to date. The ship has a capacity of 1775 linear-meters for RO-RO cargo, 336 teus container capacity and can reach a speed upto 20 knots thus granting fast connections with Libyan market. According to MED CROSS LINES development plans, a second ship will be added to the service in early April.
